Keeping a Stiff Upper Lip with Boodles Gin and Boodles Mulberry Gin

Rumor (and Wiki) has it, Boodles gin was named for a gentlemen's club in St. James, London founded in 1762.  Not the kind of “Gentlemen's club” we see on Columbus Street, but a proper club, where people went to discuss the business of the day and conduct deals.

 

Boodles, this historic British Gin, rooted in tradition and St. James style, has broken out and lent some holiday flavor to the season.  Their newly launched Mulberry Gin is sure to become a tradition in any holiday household.  Everybody wants a little extra, but sometimes when you are hanging at home with friends; it is the festive glass that salutes the relationships.

 

We have enjoyed Boodles Gin cocktails with friends and family, and I look forward to serving the Royale this December 25th.

2 oz. Boodles Mulberry Gin

1 oz. lemon juice

2 mint leaves

Soda water

Combine Mulberry Gin, Lemon Juice and Mint in a shaker with ice.  Shake and strain into a Collins glass over fresh ice, top with soda water.
